We are currently interviewing for a Senior Account Executive.

Responsibilities Include:
Account management for four to six demanding and diverse clients. The successful candidate will have proven abilities in corporate PR, media and community relations, writing and event management.

Requirements:
Candidates must have five to seven years of experience. At least half of that experience must be client management for a public relations agency. Strong writing, verbal and computer skills are a must. Bachelor’s degree in public relations, journalism, communications or related field required. Candidates with extensive media relationships and/or experience with legislative communications will have an edge.

Candidate must be:

• A self-initiator who is also capable of taking direction from senior management of the firm as needed and appropriate
• Polished and professional in dress and etiquette
• Willing to work more than 40 hours per work when needed
• Able to document a proven track record in client relations and project management

Salary:
$45,000 – $60,000. Benefits include medical and dental insurance, paid vacation and holidays, 401(k), profit sharing, paid parking and more. Relocation assistance is not available.

internships

Elizabeth Christian & Associates Public Relations (ECPR) offers an extensive internship program. Internship opportunities are typically given to two to four students per semester. Most interns are college seniors majoring in public relations or related fields and all are included in challenging assignments and client work.

ECPR internships are not paid, but do meet requirements for class credit. Interns typically work 15 hours per week in blocks of time (i.e. MWF 8:30 -1:30 or 12:30 - 5:30 OR TTH 8:30 - 1:30 or 12:30 - 5:30). It is important for the intern to commit to the internship for the entire semester. Paid parking is provided.
