Christian & Associates Public Relations Expands and Diversifies
Client Base - Entities Representing Industries Ranging
From Healthcare to Real Estate Engage Services of Award-Winning
Austin Public Relations Firm -- Adding to its growing
client base, Elizabeth Christian & Associates Public Relations
(ECPR) has been retained by a number of new clients since
the beginning of 2008, including Lady Bird Boardwalk, NeighborWorks®,
Pearce Place, Spicewood Development and Texas Radiological
Society.
"Our firm has never had such a talented pool of professionals,
nor have we worked with such a diverse group of clients,"
Elizabeth Christian, president of Elizabeth Christian & Associates
Public Relations, said. "We are honored to be a part of such
innovative and meaningful projects."
Since it was originally founded almost 15 years ago, ECPR
has represented such notable clients as St. David's HealthCare,
Cirque du Soleil, the National Domestic Violence Hotline,
Exelon Nuclear and Time Warner Cable, among many others.
ECPR will work with City of Austin on a public information
effort surrounding the planning of the Lady Bird Boardwalk,
which will close the eastern gap on the Lady Bird Lake hike
and bike trail. Currently, runners are forced to use the Riverside
Drive sidewalk over Interstate 35. ECPR will facilitate communitywide
meetings and handle media relations to ensure that Austinites
have a voice in the boardwalk design.
ECPR has also landed a contract with the NeighborWorks® America,
a national nonprofit organization created by Congress to provide
financial support, technical assistance and training for community-based
revitalization efforts. NeighborWorks® works with local partners
to create new opportunities for residents while improving
communities.
ECPR is working with Pearce Place to provide public information
on the transformation of a mobile home park in Del Valle into
an innovative and affordable community. Pearce Place will
feature many of the amenities of neighborhoods with much higher
pricing, including shared community spaces, swimming and recreation
center, energy-efficiency, narrow streets, walking paths and
small parks.
In addition, ECPR will promote Spicewood Development's Habitat
for Humanity project and will work to raise awareness of an
elegant development in Williamson County called the Gardens
at Teravista.
ECPR will assist the Texas Radiological Society with an educational
campaign about "the doctor's doctor," skilled radiologists
who read patients' X-rays, CT scans and other high-technology
images.
The firm has added staff members to assist with the new clients.
Erin Ochoa, a 10-year veteran of Austin television news, joined
ECPR as an account executive.
