Meg Meo is a marketing/public relations professional with over 30 years of experience in related fields. At Elizabeth Christian Public Relations, Meo plans and executes public relations and marketing programs for Google, Google Fiber, the Texas Access to Justice Foundation, the Austin Convention & Visitors Bureau, the Children’s Hospital Association of Texas, and the Downtown Austin Alliance, among others.
Responsibilities include nationwide publicity campaigns, marketing and strategic planning, media relations, advertising, event planning and legislative communications. She has worked with clients in a wide range of business sectors, including financial services, technology, healthcare, hospitality, urban planning, legal services, higher education, the arts and others.
Meo worked for 13 years at the Los Angeles Times, including 10 years in various management-level marketing and strategic planning positions. Her experience at the Times ranged from supervising the development of advertising sales materials, with a staff of 30, to four years as market planning manager. As market planning manager, she developed and managed a research-based strategic planning division of the company.
Born and raised in Austin, Texas, Meo graduated from The University of Texas at Austin before moving to Los Angeles. While in Los Angeles, she completed the executive program in the Anderson School of Management at UCLA. She returned to Austin in 1994 and has worked with Elizabeth Christian since 1995.
