Erika González joined Elizabeth Christian & Associates Public Relations as an account executive in July 2010. She comes to the agency with considerable experience working in media relations, digital communications, community relations, event management and public affairs for local, statewide and national campaigns.
Prior to joining ECPR, González worked with a variety of public relations firms in Austin, Texas, and Sacramento, Calif., on statewide and national campaigns. While in Austin, González expanded her experience by working on healthcare, public affairs, consumer, technology, nonprofit and corporate accounts. She performed a variety of tasks, which included conducting media and community outreach, assisting with digital communications efforts, providing event support and executing communications plans. In Sacramento, González assisted with public affairs accounts, where her tasks included conducting legislative and media outreach, executing targeted research and developing communications materials.
González holds a Bachelor of Science degree in public relations with a business foundations and Spanish concentration from the University of Texas at Austin.
