Rachel Wyatt joined Elizabeth Christian Public Relations (ECPR) in 2018 when the agency acquired Wyatt Brand, Inc., the company she co-founded in 2006.
Wyatt has more than 20 years of experience in creative direction, art direction, brand analysis and development, and design for a wide range of dynamic clients and entities. Her work for clients includes H-E-B (for which she won an ADDY Award), American College of Physicians—Texas Chapter, University of Texas College of Communication and College of Pharmacy, the City of Marfa, the Consulate General of Israel to the Southwest, the National Domestic Violence Hotline, the SIMS Foundation and many others.
Wyatt also has a strong background in journalism and communication along with a concentration of experience in editorial design.
Wyatt previously served as associate art director for Texas Monthly magazine and has designed Texas Bound magazine, Texas Architect magazine, the University of Texas College of Communication Fresh Thoughts and Ideas@Work magazines, Ride Texas magazine and My H-E-B Texas Life magazine, in addition to serving as art director at the Texas Society of Architects.
Wyatt was part of the team at fd2s, inc., working on projects including The Shops at La Cantera, MD Anderson Cancer Center, FlightSafety International and more.
She has trained dozens of new designers and acted as a mentor to many. She has lectured on branding, visual communication and publication design at the University of Texas at Austin, the Austin Music Foundation, the Art Institute at San Antonio, Texas State University, AIGA–Austin’s Raise Up and Sul Ross University. She was nominated for the Austin Business Journal Profiles in Power award in 2017.
Wyatt has served on the executive board and as a fundraiser for the JDRF to help raise awareness about Type 1 Diabetes and ultimately find a cure. Wyatt also served on the executive board as public relations/communications chair for the American Institute of Graphic Design—Austin. She has volunteered with InterFaith Action of Central Texas, Caritas Austin and the Lighthouse for the Blind in Houston, Texas.
Wyatt has a master’s degree in visual communication and Bachelor of Journalism and Photojournalism from the University of Texas at Austin.
